Weems Medical Center East in Carrabelle and Weems Medical Center West in Apalachicola provide primary care, family medicine, and rotating specialty care services.  Family and primary care services are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm (closed 12pm to 1pm for lunch).  Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are always welcome.  Specialty care services are available by appointment only.

Roy "Skip" Parker, PA-C, DFAAPA

Roy "Skip" Parker is a Board Certified Registered Physician Assistant with 42 years of direct patient care experience.  Skip graduated from the Albany-Hudson Valley Physician Assistant Program in 1975. His residency was performed in 1982 with the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Emergency Residency Program.  Skip obtained Board Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 1980.  In 1993, he returned to the Chicago Medical School at Finch University and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree through the Physician Assistant Program. Skip Parker is recognized as a Distinguished Fellow by the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  Other professional memberships include the Society of Emergency Physician Assistants, the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants.

Sussete Valdueza, FNP-BC

Sussete Valdueza is a Board Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.  Sussete graduated in 2015 with a Master of Science in Nursing from Barry University.  Sussete is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds the credential of Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (FNP-BC) awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center

General supervision and medical direction of the Weems Medical Centers is provided by Patrick F. O. Conrad, MD. 

Patrick F. O. Conrad, MD

Dr. Patrick Conrad, a Florida-born native, was a 1983 graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Following graduation with a BA in History, Dr. Conrad entered Aviation Officer Commissioning School at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. After serving in the US Navy for 9 years, Dr. Conrad  entered  the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. In 1996, he was was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine.  Following graduation, Dr. Conrad performed his residency at the Tallahassee Memorial Family Practice Residency Program. After completing his residency, he was awarded Board Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine. 

In addition to serving as the Supervising Clinic Physician for Weems Medical Centers, Dr. Conrad serves as the Weems Ambulance Service Medical Director, the ER Medical Director, and the Medical Staff representative on the George E. Weems Memorial Hospital Governing Board.
